  • From the time that your baby is born, your OBGYN or midwife will have access to only the highest quality materials provided within PacifiCord’s collection kit: FDA approved sterile Pall collection bag, CPD, FDA NDA approved, and recommended anticoagulant by the Department of Health and Human Services. After the cord blood is collected, a courier will come to your bedside to pick it up. It’s that simple.

PacifiCord has proudly invested in the same premium processing and storage technology as the world-leading cord blood banks known for successful transplants, including the New York Blood Center, Duke University, and M.D. Anderson. Our cord blood processing system, the AXP AutoXpress platform, provides the most precise cell separation and the highest published cell recoveries in the industry – important factors prior to storage. Storing your baby’s stem cells in the BioArchive, the leading storage system specifically designed for long-term preservation of only cord blood stem cells, is also a system adopted by over 29 countries, 76 institutions and over 60% of public banks worldwide.

When it comes to the quality and long-term viability of your baby’s stem cells, PacifiCord, focuses on what truly matters; adhering to global best practices. In association with five additional cord blood locations and three research and development subsidiaries worldwide, PacifiCord is a member of the HealthBanks Biotech family of companies, which for over 22 years has been a leader in pharmaceuticals, stem cell therapy, and research with thousands of cord blood procedures worldwide. In connection with our parent company, HealthBanks Biotech, PacifiCord invests millions of dollars in relevant research and development projects, including those involving umbilical cord blood stem cells, maintaining the focused goal to find cures for diseases and disabilities that are currently thought to be untreatable.

The PacifiCord team looks forward to providing your family with our cord blood banking services, along with our ongoing community outreach programs, such as our many free prenatal classes; complimentary facility tours offered seven days a week, free consultations, and our Cord Blood Concierge Service™.
